For years, Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) has looked at different ways to harness the power of our entire Movement to create greater awareness of local Clubs and enable them to raise more operating dollars. An annual campaign is a classic fundraising vehicle that designates a specified period of time to approach all donors for general operating support. This new strategy has been named, It Just Takes One.

Today, the Boys & Girls Club of McAllen serves more than 12,000 members and reaches out to more than 15,000 with at risk behavior prevention services, character and leadership development, recreation/ sports, arts, health/ life skills and education and career exploration services. To support our mission of inspiring all youth especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as responsible, caring, and productive citizens, we have developed our local It Just Takes One Campaign. It just takes one adult, YOU to make a difference in the life of a child.

The Boys & Girls Club of McAllen’s Annual Giving Campaign is scheduled for April and May 2008. Please consider making an annual donation to the Boys & Girls Club of McAllen.
